Pippa Newport- Talking Colours

I really enjoyed experimenting with different media for this task as well as combining different media to have certain effects. I felt particularly confident with using acrylic paint and oil pastels, although struggled with watercolor as I have not used it much in the past and struggle to create the outcome that I want. I enjoyed focusing on the body as a subject as I find it very inspiring and I think these are my more successful pieces. I think my still life drawings are not very effective and I want to challenge myself to do more of this in the next task in order to develop my skills. I would also like to experiment with more mark-making techniques and using an abstract approach.
