yuanfei ye- Ways of Seeing
In this task, I learned “Micro Drawing” and enlarged a picture several times. In this process, each multiple presents a different scenario.
It helps me because I like to look at the micro stuff, because I feel the same way, the macro stuff is different from the micro stuff.
The idea of this project is the same as we usually do, for example we set a theme, if you just see the surface, draw what you see on the surface, everyone does the same thing, but if you look at the extension of the topic, invite him some details, so everyone makes things will be similar but different. And then I also tried to connect some ideas to create some new ideas, some new patterns
In a word, this project has played a great role in my graphic design, which is undoubtedly a way for me to discover new things.

I really like your drawing style and how you’ve used a range of tight detailed drawings with more loose abstract mark making, especially the use of pastels to create a different texture, all of the colours work really well together and I like the themes of floral and architecture in your work, and how this is based upon the poorer areas of your environment and the effect this had on the rough tools you used. I can see for task two you’ve done drawings from different perspectives by zooming in on objects and your drawings look like they’ve been made for a textiles / pattern purpose. I like how you’ve clearly gone out of your comfort zone to use new materials and techniques and the range of processes can be seen in both of your tasks. In task 2 the start of a pattern project is clear maybe for future it would be nice to use some fabrics in your collages or layer with different textures. Overall, I love the project and your unique drawing style.
