“TALKING COLOURS”
In this task, I use a variety of materials to express the interest that can be found in daily life. All the works adopt the skills of collage and painting.
The first is a self portrait of me, I choose beads and cloth paste to try.
The second is stone, I choose the coaster and lock to try.
The third, fourth and fifth are food. I choose dried meat, dehydrated vegetables, steel ball, shredded squid, fish skin and fish bone to try.
The sixth is the view outside the window.
The seventh is the village, I choose shells and glue beads to try.
The eighth is fabric, I choose staples and coasters to try.
The ninth is a bath cap and towel, I choose shells to try.
The tenth is creative painting, I choose feather, pipe, lace, clay and PVC to try.

Your work is exceptional, you seem to have so many ideas and the use of taking impractical resources to use them as art is amazing. In your talking colours task, I really like how you have used everyday objects as inspiration for your pieces and how you have created something more abstract from this. The use of feather, pipes and clay is really interesting to how you have adapted this to your design. I particularly like the food pieces as the way you have filled the page will different patterns grabs my attention. I could suggest trying a type of printing over the top of outlines using stencils or lino if you have it.
