Peer Feedback : Mingyang Zhang Task 1 ‘Talking Colours’

I have really enjoyed looking through your work and reading your reflection. I feel like I have learnt a lot not only through your writing, but mainly through your drawings, as you have managed to create some really powerful pieces with the different mark making and the two bold colours. I really like how you have explored such an important theme so successfully in your drawings. Using the varying shades of red and blue has been very effective and you have created some really dynamic drawings, however I would say that you could maybe have explored some other colours to really fulfil the ‘Talking Colours’ brief. But you have made up for this in your wide variety of mark making and brush strokes. I love how some of the drawings are representative of the dolphins and others are more abstract. It makes a really interesting collection.
