Talking colours
I really enjoy doing the talking color task, because I get to experiment with different media like acrylic, softpastels, and watercolor. Also, I started to pay more attention to my surroundings, and every little, normal thing become very special to me. Most of my drawing’s inspiration is from my daily life, for example, people walking on the street, working out in the gym room, and flowers that I saw in the park. I also tried to draw in different styles, and get out of my comfort zone. Every color and shape that I used in the drawing is based on the vibe that the objects gave me at that moment. For example, one of my drawings is about my friends doing the partner yoga poses in the gym room, and I can feel a lot of love and youthfulness from their interaction. It reminds me of the rainbow, which is so colorful, shimmery, and giving people hope and energy. So I decided to mimic the shape of a rainbow and draw a lot of repeating curvy lines. For the next task, I will try to observe the object from different perspectives and make it more like a print.

I think the sketches are really eye-catching because of the colour combinations and strong colour contrast. Also, I can see there are some one line drawing . I found that you have explored few different techniques with mixed media. The use of Markers, oil paints and fine liners to draw and you try to fill up the whole page. It’s great to see lots of patterns coming around in different colour choices based on flowers and people scrolling their phone on the street to capture the moment by drawing down.
It would be nice to see more collages and some real observational drawings, layers with with different textures to create a tactile structure. You may get some flower to observe more ( the shape, the structure and the movement…) or do some collages stick with real flowers and add some drawings . You can just take some flowers on the street that is wither and fall then you do not have to buy that is more environmental-friendly and sustainable. Maybe some detailed drawing or real life sketches will bring it more lively.
Overall, I really like your work and drawing style. I hope it is helpful.
