ziyao geng TALKING COLOURS

For the first week, I started the task called ‘talking colour ’ which asked us to drawing same things in different styles and also used kinds of materials. I mainly created with mushroom and peacock.

From the task I have learned how to use mix media to create a fast drawing. It was also quite inspired when looked through others work that tutor showed me. At first, I felt a little bit difficult, so I went to exhibitions and parks also got inspiration from them. I think I was good at using mix media as well as colour. At the same time, I found that I preferred to focus on the details, which led to the overall outline of the object was not obvious.

For the next improvement, I will do more exercise related to the shape of the object, or I can investigate more of the works of artists. In addition, I think I need to add some photos and also maybe one more object.
