In this task, I used a lot of painting tools, oil painting sticks, which I hardly used before. It was a novel experience for me.
In my paintings, I have drawn the states of many people living in poor areas, which is also one of the reasons why I choose to use oil painting stick, because the brush strokes of oil painting stick are not as exquisite as other tools, such as marker pen and colored lead, which can outline many details.
Oil painting stick more reflects a more “chaotic” state, the colors can be blended together at will, can also be superimposed together…
In a word, as the first project of my undergraduate career, I enjoyed this project very much. I enjoyed the collision of colors as well as the collision of painting tools.
